STUART KLEIN
Licensed Clinical
Professional Counselor
My career in the mental health field spans well over 30 years in both Montana and Ohio. I've worked in private practice, mental health centers, and a psychiatric hospital.
For the past 25 years, I have been in private practice in Helena, as the owner of Big Sky Counseling, aka Stuart Klein Counseling. I also facilitated a weekly anger management men's group for about 15 years.
My general practice serves mainly adults and couples. In addition, I also provide telehealth phone or video counseling with my internet-based service, Tele-Therapist.

EDUCATION
I received my Master's degree in clinical psychology from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to that, I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Cincinnati.
In addition, I have consistently worked to further my training by taking numerous continuing education courses every year to remain up-to-date with the latest information and therapeutic counseling techniques.

EFFECTIVENESS
Through my varied experience and education, I have developed and refined my therapeutic skills into an approach that I believe works very successfully for many people.
My focus is on creating a warm, supportive, and non-judgmental relationship that will allow us to explore and resolve problems together. I believe a respectful, empathic connection is vital for the therapeutic process to be effective.
